The Global Draw has successfully renewed agreements to continue being the sole provider of server based gaming machines for two independent UK bookmakers. Both Taylormade Betting and Pridmore Bookmakers have renewed their existing contracts with The Global Draw, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation [Nasdaq: SGMS], for four and three years respectively. These latest deals maintain the company’s impressive 100% renewal rate with independent bookmakers reaching the end of their agreements with The Global Draw. Phil Horne, managing director of The Global Draw, said: “Our independent customers are an important part of our business. We are delighted both companies have chosen to renew their contracts and we see this as testimony to the quality of our product and the service we provide alongside the appreciation that The Global Draw has exciting times ahead.” Taylormade has 67 industry leading Nevada gaming terminals across 22 shops and Pridmore has 15 shops with a total of 58 machines. Following Scientific Games’ partnership with Playtech earlier this year, the VideoBet software will soon be available on all gaming machines and both Taylormade and Pridmore were enthused by the developments that will be offered. Taylormade’s managing director Steve Taylor said: “When it came to renewing our contract we looked around the marketplace but it soon became clear we were already with the company that could offer us the best deal and give our customers the best gaming content they enjoy playing. “We are very excited about the new features that will soon be offered by The Global Draw with the VideoBet partnership. “The system will provide even more flexibility and the ability to run promotional activity. The information we can gather about customer play will prove invaluable and we will be able to tailor our promotions to each store, or even each machine. “We can mix and match elements to offer bespoke services in each shop and maximise the potential for both customer satisfaction and machine revenue. “Our ultimate aim is to offer the best gaming experience and the best value for money and this is what The Global Draw machines enable us to do.” Pridmore’s general manager Alan Dennis also saw the benefits of renewing his agreement with The Global Draw. He said: “We are excited to be working with a company that is moving forward. The flexible promotions we will be able to offer through the new software will really help us keep in touch with our customers. “We saw all the exciting developments at a recent VideoBet roadshow and this made us very confident about continuing our contract with The Global Draw. “The ability to contact our core customer database through SMS messaging gives us the opportunity to maximise the benefits from our promotional activity.” The Global Draw is a leading supplier of dual screen B2/B3 gaming machines to UK betting shops with more than 13,000 terminals operating in around 3,600 shops.
