GLOBAL DRAW ON TARGET WITH
PROMOTIONAL SUPPORT

Independent betting shops have received a welcome boost from machine supplier The Global Draw in the form of cash rewards for enhanced performance.

The company organised an incentive programme for its independent customers across four different trading regions to herald the arrival of a number of new game releases.

It also simultaneously staged a machine tournament within its independent estate using the game Shoot or Loot.

Rewards of £500 were presented to Ansells, Richmond, Sam Johnson and Chisholm as the bookmakers who achieved the highest percentage uplift in average weekly revenue per terminal over a three month period.

Machine player Dennis Moorhead also won £500 for netting the highest score on Shoot or Loot at his local betting shop, Backhouse Bet in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire.  He was entered into a national prize draw with all the other top scorers from participating shops.

Paul Jenkins, The Global Draw’s account manager for the independent sector, said: “Machine income is an integral part of the modern betting shop but the best results will always come to those operators who successfully promote their terminals and content.

“We work in close collaboration with all our independent customers to make machine promotions accessible and impactful.  It is a service they truly value which provides access to professional external promotional resources usually reserved for the major national operators.

“This latest programme of activity incentivised staff to work at boosting revenues and presented a simple but effective mechanic for a player tournament built around a new game release.

“Our congratulations go to the individuals working in our winning shops and we hope they enjoy their prizes.”

Founded in 1997, The Global Draw is a leading supplier of dual screen B2/B3 gaming machines to the UK betting shop industry and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation [Nasdaq: SGMS].  It has more than 12,500 Nevada terminals operating in around 3,400 shops.
